The Seward County Fair is held annually at the Fair Grounds in Seward, Nebraska. The Fair showcases 4-H and FFA projects, open class entries and local and regional entertainment. The Fair is typically held in August and runs from Thursday thru Sunday. Annual attendance is estimated at 10,000 to 12,000. Many local merchants display merchandise and equipment. The indoor and outdoor vendors hawk wares ranging from photography to church organizations. The food court and fair restaurants provide a wide variety of tasteful entrees for every palate. The 4-H center is the focus for the beef, swine and sheep shows, while the equine show is performed in the grandstand area. Open class animals are located in the small animal barn which bulges each year with everything from rabbits to ducks. The midway is the gathering place for the younger set with a thrill or ride to fit any age. Come join us to enjoy and experience the Seward County Fair.
